My family is doesnt believe in interracial relationships and they call me names and put me down because of it. But, I truly love this guy.. you have to do what your heart tells you. there is nothing wrong with going with the opposite race. we are all people and love is blind and see no color nor flaws. if you worry about loving him then you are not in love with him. when your in love with someone you don't care what anyone says or thinks of you nor the person. your family cant live your life and no one but god can judge you. you have one life to live and if this man makes you happy where you see beyond his skin then stick with him.
i think its great that people of different races can get together, nobody should have to put up with abuse from family and friends just coz they dont approve. if he makes you happy, you go and be happy with him. ignore everyone else. if it doesnt work out in the future then it is ur mistake to make and nobody elses. dont feel down when they say things, be proud and happy og ur relationship. they are just narrow minded and u are the more mature and better person

you should sit your family down and explain to them you are living in the 21 st century and you are in LOVE with this man.... you can use Heidi Klum and Seal as an example.... but you should tell them that they really hurt you but follow your heart. Color has nothing to do with the person
it shouldnt matter what other people think about who YOU fall in LOVE with. in the end it matters if YOU are happy or not. yes they are your family and might not like it but its NOT their life and if your happy in a interracial relationship they why care what they think

How do you not let political beliefs ruin relationships?
I try really hard not to, but I always end up changing my opinion about someone when they disagree with me politically, or don't support who I want to win for president. How can I change that? :P How do you not let political beliefs ruin relationships?
It sounds like you lack tolerance and understanding. One of the best things you can do is try to figure out why they believe the way they believe.
Many people just have their parents values out of ease, others go the opposite of their parents out of rebellion. Some people have their own view separate from their parents. Some have some significant event or person in their life that causes them to believe what they do.
If that's too difficult (cause that's a lot of homework) then maybe you should change your perspective. Disagree with those who don't do their homework on the candidates/policies and agree with those who did do the work.
I respect a friend of mine for learning about a candidate even tho I am opposed to their choice a lot more than a guy I know who just blindly sticks with a candidate based on one issue.

Why is money such an important role in relationships?
Some women use men for money. Sometimes women don't feel loved if men don't spend enough money on them. How much is enough, if it's true love it shouldn't cost a dime. I mean, it's great to buy something for someone you love. I do not think it should be important to base a relationship off of.Why is money such an important role in relationships?

thats why i've spent a lot of time with eastern/ african cultures who value other things such as relationships and smiles and kindness of simple pleasures.
i've know my husband when he was earning mega bucks and now earns nothing. i am lucky that we have both appreciated the best in each other as our most valuable resource.

It's more than just buying something for your loved one. If she is your wife, and your childrens mother you better well be able to insure the woman that her family will be taken care of.
Todays wallet is the equivelant of our ancestors hunt. The better the hunter then the better the food and fur coming into the hut.
