Without tv, movies, modern music, ect how much differently would we view people in general. How much is your point of view tainted or directed by the presuppositions and stereotypes from the media; those gained without any real experience. And how is your reaction to experiences influenced by advise gained from people whom you do not know and who dont know you personally i.e. media personalities.How much is our perception of relationships influenced by the media?
The media definitely influences how people view relationships. It can be for the better but really I think a lot of the time it's been for the worst. For example, in tv shows the dads are often shown as stupid and unaware and that is playing out in society, but the father is supposed to be the head of the home, supportive, and loving. I'm not saying it's all bad, but some is.
