Is their any relationships allowed between soliders in the military or is that restricted? Basically what Im ?

meaning is can two soldier's date and have a physical relationship or is this type of behavior forbidden in the military, and how is it with relationships in different ranks is that allowed? And how about different branches is that allowed? What about relationships on the same platoon is that allowed? How do they get in trouble for relationships is it reported to the superiors? What about marriage between two soliders is that kind of behavior allowed? Is their any relationships allowed between soliders in the military or is that restricted? Basically what Im ?
Contrary to popular belief. (Usually influenced by the chain of command) THE DEFINITION OF FRATERNIZATION IS ENLISTED AND OFFICER having an inappropriate relationship. The UCMJ specifies nothing against other relationships. Some guidance for that can be found is each branches personnel policies but is not Fraternization under the UCMJ.

There are also many exceptions to the rule, just becuase one person is enlisted and one is an officer does not automatically make it fraternization. Here are a few of the exceptions.

1) You are dating someone that is enlisted and becomes an officer while you are dating. You have one years to marry or terminate the relationship. (By Army Policy)

2) You are in a reserve component of the Armed Forces and can prove that your relationship is based on your civilian life and not your military relationship.

Marriage between 2 soldiers is fine. There are even Army programs to keep married service members stationed together. However relationships between seniors and Juniors is prohibited by UCMJ. Its called fraternization. There is nothing against people from other services having a relationship but there is no guarantee that you will be stationed together. That could be a good thing or bad depending on how you feel about your spouse. Same platoon may be frowned upon though. The military is not high school and you should try and avoid having a relationship with a person that you will have to work with everyday, even if the relationship ends.
The main restrictions are relationships between enlisted and officers, between NCOs and lower enlisted, and people in the same chain of command. If they were married before one of them got promoted then it is considered an exception (such as two E-4s being married already and then one of them goes to OCS). As of right now, all relationships while in the CENTCOM area of responsibility are prohibited regardless of the rank of the participants unless they are legally married already. This is mainly to prevent the spread of STDs in theater as well as preventing troops from getting sent home early due to pregnancy.
Two Soldiers can date and even marry - however there are rules against fraternization. Basically:

- An Officer cannot have a relationship with an Enlisted Soldier

- A Soldier cannot have a relationship with anyone in his/her chain of command

- A Soldier cannot have a relationship with a Soldier *if* they could influence the speed at which that Soldier's career advances.
All of the answers here are correct... You can be enlisted and married to an officer, as I am. You cannot be enlisted and date an officer. My husband and I were both enlisted when we dated and got married, then he was commissioned after we got married. A dual military relationship is not easy by any means, you've got to be pretty self sufficient and independent. Good luck!
The smart lady above said what I've heard.

I don't know, I've just been to MEPS, but I'll tell you what the army girls there were surprisingly hot. A couple about set the floor on fire.
