Why are interracial relationships between hispanic and whites more accepted?

I am just wondering why interracial relationships between white people and hispanic people is more accepted than some other interracial relationships. I mean aren't we all equal? I don't understand why people see a problem with it to begin with, but why differentiate with the between interracial relationships. I had at first though it was something to do with color, but some hispanic people have really tan skin and people still don't have as big a problem with it as they do when say a white and black person date...Why?Why are interracial relationships between hispanic and whites more accepted?
Hispanic is NOT a race. There are Hispanics that are white, black, and native indian. Many Hispanics are usually mixed with Native American and white, which is known as Mestizos. Mexicans are the perfect example of Mestizos which make the majority of Mexico. There are many Hispanics, whoever, that are white as well. The great majority of Argentina is WHITE. Most Argentinians are descendants of Spaniards, Italians, Germans, etc (just to name of few). The people of Uruguay are almost all white as well. Hispanic is an ethnic group of people bound by cultural ties and the common Spanish language brought forth by the Spaniards during colonialism. I have known many Hispanics that are indistinguishable from a European. So to answer your question, its more ';acceptable'; because many of them are white or at least partially white compared to the blacks.Why are interracial relationships between hispanic and whites more accepted?

no, you're thinking of mestizos. hispanics can be full white, full asian, full black, full indian, or any mix of any race. most hispanics in the US are mestizos.

Hispanic, that's a very diverse ';raced';





It can be a Nigerian to a German Jew, just because they grew up or born in a Spanish speaking country they are classified as one.





With that being said, depending on who it is, they can be just as equal to a Anglo American in every way... maybe that's what they want. Something different but the same....Like a white girl going out with an Argentinian, he is blue eyed from Poland heritage, but his of a different culture.

Jeremy S is kind of off. Hispanic is a mix of white and native american(most common), white and black or black and indian. So I guess because they hispanics and whites have similar blood that's why it's accepted.
because alot of Hispanics are white with Spanish decent, and fit more in with the white. Like a example majority of mexicans white and Indian. And with blacks they aren't.
Well, most Hispanics can assimilate into the mainstream (white) more easily. It's hard for blacks to do so unless they are very light with European features.
lets face it, most hispanics are mixed white or look white. blacks look way different which may be more of a threat somehow to some white or hispanic parents
