Are long distance relationships doomed for the start?

I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH SOMEONE THAT IS NOT A U.S. CITIZEN YET, WE ENJOY EACH OTHER AND WE CONNECT SO MUCH. I SEE A VERY PROMISING FUTURE BETWEEN US. BUT IM THINKING WE ARE GOING TO BE APART FOR SO LONG ASIDE FROM THE PERIODICALLY VISITS.Are long distance relationships doomed for the start?
Long Distance Relationships are not doomed from the start. To tell you the truth they work really well. You just gatta be committed. If You can wait and he can wait then it will all be fine and You two will have the Best Future together. dnt worrie bout it, just love him and he will love you back. no i dont think they're doomed from the start. i went on a vacation this summer and met my boyfriend, was there for a month where we got to talking and then he told me how he felt about me and i felt the same. i haven't seen him in 7 months and it gets hard at times but like you i see a future ahead of us. i will wait for as long as it takes because i know in the end it will be worth it. just hold on and see what happens. No I've heard of tons of successful love stories that started off long distance, but it takes two commited people
