To all the people saying the South is a hostile place of interracial relationships you are so ignorant it's obvious you've never set foot outside your area. There are interracial relationships everywhere you look here, ESPECIALLY in the cities. At least that's what it's like here in Texas. Of course you're impression of the South is what you see in the media--a bunch of racist Bible thumping bigots. If you actually bothered to come visit you'd be surprised at how things are pretty ';normal'; just like the rest of the country and how the South has no shortage of interracial relationships.
EDIT: Oh but I'm born and raised too and I know what I've seen as well. And yes I've been to other Southern states too. I have a buddy who's dating a black girl and described an incident were people were staring very rudely at them in a restaurant and this was in MINNESOTA. So don't go thinking that racism is something that's exclusive only for the South because it's not.
yeah I agree with politically incorrect, nowadays their are lots of interracial relationships in the south, including my parents. I mean sure there are probably people who still are against IR, but there are people like that everywhere.
But then again my parents did say that back in early 90s they received poor treatment from some ignorant folk, but now hostility toward IR are kind of uncommon.
As far as countries, the UK is a more multicultural environment fit for interracial relationships, therefore there are MORE interracial couples in the UK than here in the US.
As far as US states/cities, New York, Florida, California etc are all places where interracial couples are common.

for those saying North is the best place for Interracial relationships, then I think you mean only one race,
Mainly in NYC it is Black and Hispanic, if a Black male in NYC dates a White female he is looked down upon. If a Black male in NYC dates an Asian female people from his own race pretend like he does not exist.
Maybe its just the African Americans and Hispanics there (sadly I lived among the poor types) whom are strongly against interracial relationships. If you say the North, then by ALL MEANS exclude New York City from your list, because that city is only friendly to Hispanic and African American relationships, thats about it. I had a White friend there that dated a Black girl, 2 days later he was shot dead and they found him in a body bag *wipes tears*, well off of that subject.
Now for my answer
Best: Seattle, Chicago, Salem (Oregon), Boston (massachusetts WELCOMES it) and Olympia
Worst: NYC (stick to your own race there unless you are a Black male going with a Hispanic female or vice versa), the DEEP and RURAL south (big cities like Atlanta are excluded), Rural Midwest and the rural central region (oklahoma and such).
Best: Probably New York, Cali, almost anywhere up North.
Worst: The South.
Politically Incorrect: Who are you to call anyone ignorant? I'm from the South, Southern born and Southern bred. I've been to many states in the South, so I know what I've seen. You are talking about Texas being okay with interracial relationships. Okay, good for you but that doesn't go for the rest of the South. As a matter of fact, some people don't even consider it the South. Have you ever thought that some of us who are saying the South is the worst were born and raised, or live here? From my point of view, it is the worst.
There are typically neighborhoods in every city Philadelphia: University City, Mount Airy, Fairmount. Chicago: Hyde Park, Lincoln Park, I could go on. If I had to pick a region I'd say the Pacific NW. Strangely, or not, where there is a military base there are interracial couples.
Essentially, as income levels and homogeneity go down so does the chance of successfully living some place in an interracial relationship; where income levels AND homogeneity go up you are more likely to see interracial couples.
Of course, this is not writ in stone. Human beings of all races and income always find ways of surprising us and getting together despite what it would seem society would dictate.
Midwest is actually the worst, places like N/S Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, and etc...
Best: Miami, New York City, San Fransisco
Worst: Just about any southern city
Actually there are alot of interracial couples here in the south probally not as much as up north.
