What are some relationships between traveling in air and traveling in water?

This is a science question that I have t do a project on and I'm a little lost. I know it has to do with displacement, but im not sure what it has to do with traveling. And how do you displace air? What are some relationships between traveling in air and traveling in water?
You displace air the same way you do water. When you introduce an object into a space, the air or water that was previously occupying that space is displaced.

When you have a hot air baloon or other lighter than air vehicles. They operate with the same principle that boats do. That when you have an object of volume X that weighs less than air/water of the same volume, that object will float. What are some relationships between traveling in air and traveling in water?
You displace air by just being in it. You are doing that now. Both air and water have a buoyant effect on you according to the mass of the air or water displaced. The effect of the air displacement is not very large of course.
